A Wine Bar … in Clintonville?

New shop owners JP and Kayla have refreshed the space at 3517 N. High Street; we still have all the supplies and equipment you need for homebrewing, winemaking or cidermaking, but the front of the shop is now a fun and cozy spot for socializing, relaxing, finishing up your work day or enjoying board games with some friends.

NEW! Our Three Stages of Winemaking Classes.

We will be teaching three classes geared toward beginner winemakers interested in getting into the hobby, with the first class kicking off Saturday September 5th.

We will explain about the process of winemaking and show you step by step how to make wine from a kit. These classes ALSO include wine tasting of 3 wines. Everyone in the class will take home 3 bottles of wine upon completion!

Fresh Clintonville Hops Available Soon!

Our friend and local urban farmer Will is looking at another bumper crop of Zeus and Columbus hops coming in this year, and expects to be harvesting in early to mid-September.

These are high-alpha-acid varieties, suitable for use in any hop-forward beer, such as an IPA or pale ale.

These hops are hand-trimmed, air-dried and vacuum sealed in two-ounce packages. They freeze well for up to one year with only minimal loss of flavor, aroma or lupulins.
